The Programme namely, Sustainability Through Participation, Empowerment and Decentralization (SPED II) primarily deals with three sectors -

Sustainable Livelihood Iniitiatives
The project aims at empowering people through participation and decentralization. The programme supported by Save A Family plan is based on a strong belief that such a strategy is sustainable and result oriented. The following objectives have been incorporated in the programme.
To promote the integrated approach in watershed management for addressing problems relating to the environment
To strengthen the capacity of the NGO to address the environmental issues on a long term basis at organizational and community levels.
To build resource team at DSSS level on environment impact assessment among the community to achieve environmental consciousness in the society.
To build a Resource Team at DSSS level on gender and facilitate gender concept among the community to achieve gender consciousness in the society.
To build a resource team at DSSS level on Good Governance and facilitate this concept among the community to achieve Good Governance in the society.
To promote income generating employments for women who are normally reliable, economically viable, financially feasible and sustainable
To conduct Entrepreneurship Development programme (EDP) for the selected beneficiaries.
